ANNOUNCEMENT:
Due to a variety of circumstances, The Roots of The Rocks festival is not going to happen as planned.
Good news is, we are not fully canceling the festival, we are changing the venue and the lineup.
The bad new is, we are no longer holding it at the beautiful location of "Area BFE."
This is an unprecedented decision for The Roots of the Rocks Team and one that we did not take lightly. It is with a heavy heart that we announce the down scaling, location and lineup change of this year's Roots of the Rocks Festival. Next week we will be announcing the changes to the lineup and any other changes we may face.
We are truly grateful for your support. Without you, none of this would be possible.
We set down on the path to Roots of the Rocks with excitement and a strong belief that our community was primed and ready for a 4-day grassroots music festival at Area BFE. We still strongly believe in the original intention for Roots of the Rocks and the beautiful event it is destined to be, but after 3 months of immense preparation and promotion, we have come to the conclusion that the time is not yet right for this particular event to take place at Area BFE.
The support of our community is a very vital aspect in us creating fun and inspiring events, but the level of participation necessary for Roots of the Rocks at "Area BFE" to happen at this point in time is simply not there. We are so thankful to the Boulder Mountain Guest Ranch for inviting us to host a more intimate version of Roots of the Rocks at their location.
If you are a ticket holder, we will be sending you an email shortly with your options. Please stand by. If any of you have hard copy tickets and want a refund, please email us at hardcopy@rootsoftherocks.com. Please also include the name of the person who sold it to you.
We are learning and growing from this valuable experience, and will apply those lessons to improve all of our upcoming adventures going forward. We have really learned the importance of starting small and leaving room to grow together with our wonderful and supportive community as your participation and feedback are so vital to us.
